  • Passive: Fight or Flight

Cottontails passive makes her invisible at a critical HP. its also increases her movement speed and attack damage. Many beginners but also experienced players simply use it to get away at a very low HP. they do not use the attack buff this skill grants. i recommend you to throw a shuriken or use her ult ( if available ) during the damage increase. it might get you a kill, it will help your ally's during a team fight and with this high damage/low HP build you can deal tons of damage with a single shuriken! Also, the enemy contestant have no way to dodge it because, YOU are invisible! O_O

  • Skill 1: Bandit's Shuriken

Cottontails first skill makes her throw a shuriken in target direction. this is an excellent ability, both for poking damage on any bulky target like voulder and for farming tributes. depending on the enemies you face, i recommend you to choose this ability first.

  • Skill 2: Dash Series

Cottontails second ability, shadow dash, makes Cottontail quickly dash in any direction, further more, if she hitts an enemy, she can do a second dash without any cooldown. this is an excellent 1v1 ability, dash in, dash out and the enemy suffered a ton of damage before even noticing it. its also great during a team fight. if you face a elroc, cottontail, maybe even a may, then pick this ability first. otherwise take the shuriken.

  • Skill 3: Bunny Swipes

Her third ability, does first of all heavy single target damage, then it increases the attack speed of your next three basic attacks. this is great for pushing down a turret and because of the AD build it deals a ton of damage. its also great for 1v1s against any target ( assuming you have the shadow dash ).

  • Skill 4: Heaven's Blade

Cottontails ult makes her leap into the air, becoming untargetable, and then deal heavy damage everyone you target. whatever you do, SAVE this ability until your enemy has a critical HP. do not waste it on targets with lots of HP left.

This is how i measure ingame time:
    early game= lv 1 - 7
    mid game= lv 8 - 14
    late game= lv 14+

    Starting items

Instead of buying boots as starting item for Cottontail, i buy the squire's sword. instead of zencha's tea i buy 2 hp potions for two reasons.

    1. More hp than zencha's tea. mana is not necessary if you have to recall due to low hp
    2. The effect of the hp potion can not be stopped by damage. You can keep up the fight!

    Early game

Buy a very cursed blade for the lifesteal so that you don't have to rely on potions.
then get boots and upgrade those to carrier hooves. that way, you can always hunt down your target or flee from a dangerous enemy. keep building AD items and buy a zencha's tea for the mana and hp refill.

    Mid game

    Keep increasing lifesteal and AD.

    Late game

Now its time to get some hp and armor yourself. to bee to squishy is not good!
thats why we buy the guardian angel. the enemies have probably bought a lot of armor to survive your high damage. this isn't any problem because you buy armor piercing.

In the final items you then buy a citadel vest for the spell armor.

  • Relic

    Homebound

I personally often find myself trapped behind the enemy lines or in a bush with low hp and a enemy approaching. therefore a 3 second recall can and will in most scenarios save your life.

    Rush

Excellent way of catching up with your enemies, and if you wanna know why not use ancient pulse instead, read zencha's fantastic voulder guide. in the relic section he has a very good explanation why.

    Fire and Fury

Increased attack damage combined with her third ability = lethal

  • Gameplay

    Do not go safe!
be the first one to attack and therefore kill the enemies before they even have the time to react.
    bulky scary target?
poke him with the shuriken a couple of times, then dash in use the third ability and then dash out again! if he tries to flee, follow him with a dash and then a shuriken followed by the ult!
no target i ever encountered have survived that, there are a couple of ways to stop thee combo, mays ult, her volley and most other cc skills. then you quickly dash out after the effect has ended and keep fleeing while simultaneously poking them with the shuriken.

  • Pros & Cons

    - High damage
    - Quick
    - Hard to beat

    Con's

    - Very squishy
    - Not for beginners
    - Risky playstyle
