Lee Chi - Immense Healing

A guide by: Freewell

Hey guys, Freewell here. I am goinna tell you how I like to play Lee Chi, our favorite Planting Panda so far. If you have a nicely balanced team, It could make the difference.

  • Passive: Empowered Seeds

Empowered Seeds is something you should learn to use nicely. In early game, it is best used if you throw twice the Tangletree Seed then use the empowered one to heal yourself and your allies for amazing healing.

In end game, try focussing your Empowered Seeds on the Tangletree Seed instead. So you deal more damage, since your heal should be powerful enough already.

  • Skill 1: Vigorum Seed

Vigorum Seed is the best heal in the game so far. If you stack enough spellpower in early game, your team becomes nearly unbeatable in 3v3 fights. When the enemy team has a Lee Chi as well, this can result in some amazing battles.

  • Skill 2: Trangletree Seed

Due to the short area of effect on this skill, it is essential to aim it using a bit of foresight. Predict where your enemy is going or try to have May stun the enemy first.

If you duo a lane with May, this could mean you will almost always get the kill when you use the right skills at the right time.
A good example for this is:
Volley > Trangletree Seed > Massive Golden Arrow > Bamboo Rising > Volley
This causes such a long stun that nearly no contestant can survive it.

  • Skill 3: Bamboo Rising

When in a teamfight, fleeing opponents can easely be hit by this skill, causing May to be able to Volley, Skippard to slow, Volunder to throw his hammer thing or Renwil to Shoulder Slam into the opponent.

Also this skill does moderate damage when you have a nice bit of Spell Power.

  • Skill 4: Slime Hunter Zone

The name of this skill is really weird.. Slime Hunter Zone?

Some ways to use this nicely is by walking to the other side of the opponent and pushing them back, while running to give you some space or to push Dim away when he is using his Shield.

Also the skill "empowers" your allies, meaning they get a little bit of health. So far I haven't seen any great use for this, accept when they are dying, you are next to them and they want to escape.

    Starting Items

This is the best pick for starting items. It will double your healing output.
Mana potion is there for the lack of mana in early game. Buy more later if you don't have boots yet.

    Early game

Focus on obtaining candles as soon as possible. The way your healing scales with Spell Power is amazing.

    Mid Game

Get yourself another candle or go for Vigor Bloom. Mana is really an issue untill you are at a higher level.

    End Game

    Get more candles. Really OP!

    Final Build

Citadel Vest is nice to get as extra item. Really depends on your enemies though. Try to figure out which armor is best against the opponents your are up against and buy it.

    Boots

For boots, you could go for Mana/CDR boots or go for Speed boots. Mana is a problem, so this is a nice way to give you a bit more sustainability. When your team isn't fighting together, speed boots could get you to them quicker.

  • Relic

    Ghostly Execution

Due to your low damage output, getting kill can be hard. Using this relic can give you some extra kills, which means extra cash, which means more healing output

    Ancient Pulse

As always, Ancient Pulse is one of the bests relics. A little more easier escapes or a quick combination of Ancient Pulse + Slime Hunter Zone could mean the difference of the entire game.

  • Gameplay

    DON'T

    - Go solo, your teammates need you and you need them even more.
    - Buy attackspeed, attack damage or too much armor. Spell Power give you much more survivability.

    DO

-Focus on keeping your teammates alive. Throw heals near Towers when attacking it.
    - Stun Stun Stun. Give your allies time to kill the opponent by stacking stuns. Bamboo them into the air, followed by a Strangletree Seed can hold them in place for quite some time.
    - Be a good teammate. In a 3v3 battle, your teammates are more important to survive. If you have your vigorum seed off cooldown, throw it to your ally and walk there. Selfishness = Death

  • Pros & Cons

    Pro's

    - AMAZING HEALING, I mean really. 50-75% in one spell at mid-end game. Even on tanks.
    - Great survivability.
    - You are a Panda.. thats a pro! Cuz panda's are black, white and Asian.

    Con's

    - Near to no damage output. Eventhough your skills scale with Spell Power, the damage you do is very little. Especially due to cooldowns.
    - You are a Panda. Yea I know.. it's both good and bad.. Female Panda's are only fertile twice a year. This means you can have intercourse once a year.. if you are lucky.
