May - Mighty May

A guide by: Freewell

Hey guys! I am going to tell you how I build my May. Probably not the best build, but it works for me. This build is all about reaching 100% attack speed bonus with some nice damage and passives.

  • Level123456789101112131415161718
    skill2 XXXXX
    skill2 XXXXX
    skill2 XXXXX
    skill2 XXX
  • Passive: Eyes of the Lynx

May's Passive. Gives you a nice advantage. due to the fact that you can see enemies who try to hide in bushes after being attacked by you.

  • Skill 1: Radiant Volley

A great skill that stuns your opponents AoE style. Nice for farming too as it does quite a bit of damage. Try predicting where your enemy is gonna be running in 1 second and shoot it there. This takes a lot of practice, but once you do this perfectly it is a huge buffer for your entire team.
This skill should have yoru highest priority!

  • Skill 2: Weak Spot Shot

One highly misunderstood and underrated damaging skill. If you use this right after an auto-attack, you will do 3 quick shots. 2x Auto-attack and 1x an attack that ignores most of targets Armor.

  • Skill 3: Radiant Seeker

This little fellow has near to no use. I have never seen it be an advantage for a player or anything. Do NOT take this early game, as other skills have a much better chance of you killing your enemies.
Placing it is not that hard though. Place it around towers or in a row on the floor. Make it so that enemies can't avoid it. Also.. stack them !

  • Skill 4: Massive Golden Arrow

Nice skill. That should be used wisely as it has a high cooldown.
Time it after your volley for maximum stun! This should give you 1 volley stun, 1 mga stun and after another volley stun. Giving you a lot of time to kill your opponent!

    Start Game

Take the blade for extra damage and Zencha's tea for longer lane-sustainability.

    Early Game

If you have a lot of money when returning home, go for midgame items, else just take the Cursed Blade for some lifesteal and the tea for same reasons as before.

    Mid Game

Depending on your money, go for the items in this sequence. If you have the cursed blade and the Jade Blade, Reaper will only cost you 550. Which is near to nothing, compared to it's stats. Also start stacking Attack Speed. This is a mayor part of the build

    End Game

Here you can start focussing on Attack Speed followed by a little more attack damage. Sometimes I like buying a total of 3-4 boots before going for the Edge of the Vale.

    Final Build = OVERPOWER

This is an awesome end-build. You can start solo'ing towers, tanks and anything in your path. Watch out for Cottontail though!

  • Relic

    #1 Choise: Ancient Pulse

Ancient Pulse is the go-to relic. It can be used for getting that last hit on an enemy thats just out of range, or for teleporting away from a large group of enemies when you have low health.

    Rush

You should go for this if you want to use Ancient Pulse, but don't have the required level.

    Decimate

Hey wait! Isn't Decimate a jungling relic? Yes it is. But don't go jungling. Just use it to get that bit of extra money by using it's active on laning-tributes.

  • Gameplay

This char is nice in both lanes. Solo on Top gives you some nice extra cash. Try focussing on tributes and not-dying. Remember, not dying is more important then killing enemy contestants.

  • Pros & Cons

    The Good

    - Amazing Damage
    - Insane Attack speed
    - Nice Crowd Control

    The Bad

    - So squishy
    - Tanks with a lot of health stacked are hard to kill this way.
